It is hard to believe that a friend had to twist my arm to get me to go to Bud Foster’s Restaurant. I have been on a hot-wing eating binge all year, and Fosters just didn’t sound like the kind of place to satisfy my cravings.
I was all geared up for Buffalo Wild Wings (BW3’s) or Sharkeys when I got the nudge to try out Bud Fosters. I was reluctant at first, but being the good friend that I am, I decided to put of the wings until another day and give it a shot.
I was inside mulling over the menu, trying to decide between a burger and a ruben, and to my surprise, I spotted hot wings listed in the appetizer menu—a dozen for only $7.99.
I placed my order from the appetizer menu, and in less than 5-minutes, I was in hot wing heaven. I couldn’t believe it; these were the best chicken wings that I have ever tasted. Not to mention, the wings here were large, and this is the first time that I have ever needed a to-go box while on a wing bender.
I have been back to Fosters several times since then, and I can honestly say that every time I leave, I leave happy. The service is always great, the food is always wonderful and the prices are always low.
I can’t say that I have been to every restaurant in Blacksburg, but out of all of the restaurants I have been to, I can certainly say that Bud Foster’s Restaurant is one of the best.
